| (College of Physical Education,Hubei University,Wuhan 430062,China) Abstract: The authors studied the current situation of men’s professional basketball tournament in China (CBA) and revealed that pending problems currently existed in CBA mainly include property right, management system, operation mechanism, talent cultivation as well as tournament system, and put forward measures for the development of CBA, such as weakening the controlling function of Basketball Administrative Center, establishing tournament system of CBA, perfecting professional sports rules dedicated for CBA, and strengthening the cultivation of professional management talents,etc.
