| (Physcial Education College, Jimei University, Xiamen 361021,China) Abstract: Modern thought of physical education is one of the contents of school culture construction. This paper inquires into the carrier's role of physical education in school culture construction. i.e, gives prominence to the effect of modern thought of physical education on enhancing the school coagulation and on the education of psychology and aesthetics, proposes that paying close attention to school culture construction will play guiding role and have practical significance on perfecting school management, stressing school's individuality and increasing the internal power of the reformation and development of school's physical education.
