(1.National Office for Education Sciences Planning,Beijing 100088,China;2.School of Phisical Education and Sport,Beijing Normal University,Beijing100875,China;3.School of Phisical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510631,China) Abstract: Compared with the “ninth five years” plan, the quantity of research topics established in the scholastic physical education and sanitation area in the “tenth five years” plan for the science of education nationwide is greatly increased, and the contents cover various areas in scholastic physical education and sanitation, showing the following characteristics: researches on physical education curriculum have become hot topics; researches on stu-dent’s physical health tends to become comprehensive; researches on sanitation are switched to the health education emphasized prevention and the solving of student’s health issues; scholastic physical education is studied from the perspective of cultural construction; researches on specialized physical education issues tend to go deeper, but there is a lack of breakthroughs in researches on physical education teaching practice; there is an ever increasing quantity of researches on physical education boosting student’s mental health and social development and on the combina-tion of scholastic physical education and community sports, but there fewer and fewer researches on extracurricular sports activities, sports training and competition. In the 10 years to come, researches on scholastic physical educa-tion and sanitation should be developed to make scholastic physical education and sanitation contemporary, innova-tive, disciplinary, opening, pioneering, scientific and standardized.
