| (Department of Physical Education,Shenzhen Polytechnic,Institute Shenzeng 518055,China) Abstract: The author analyzed the offensive and defensive performances of each team member and the characteristics of offensive and defensive performances of the entire team in accordance with the indices of technical statistics of Chinese men’s basketball team in the 22nd Asian Men’s Basketball Championship,and evaluated the offensive and defensive performances of the entire team by using RSR. The author drew the following conclusions: Chinese team had excellent performances in offense and defense,which were well balanced; the characteristics of offense of the team revealed high percentage of hits and dominance in the air; the team shown such characteristics as a better inner line performance that outer line performance in defense.
