(1.School of Postgraduate,Guangzhou Sport University,Guangzhou 510075,China; 2.Guangzhou College of Applied Science and Technology,Guangzhou 511370,China) Abstract: This study combines the contemporary needs of innovative, applied, and compound high-level sports professional talents under the background of Healthy China and sports power, and further analyzes the practical dilemmas in improving the training quality of postgraduates from professional degree in physical education. The current problem faced by the system includes the ambiguity that existed in the training methods compared to other academic degrees, the urgent need to strengthen the teaching team, the insufficient practicality of the teaching method, the outdated teaching organization forms, the lacks in systematicity of practical internship, the integration of industry and education and collaborative training are not promoted well, thesis topics lack pertinence and practicality, and there is a lack of paper review standards. In response to the above dilemmas and according to relevant national requirements, the following solution paths have been proposed such as continuing to deepen the reform of the admissions system; optimizing the curriculum system, enriching course resources, and improving course teaching; strengthening internship practice management and improving professional practice capabilities; highlighting the application orientation, thesis topic selection, and problem awareness; improving the quality assurance system and strengthening thesis process management; strengthening the education of the teaching staff and implementing the task of cultivating people with higher professional integrity; strengthening professional ethics and professional ethics education, and improving industry standards; promoting the integration of industry and education in collaborative education, which is to construct a "four-in-one" postgraduate training model for professional master’s degree in physical education with "professional knowledge + professional skills + career development + scientific research capabilities" as the main body.
