(1.School of Physical Education and Health Sciences,Zhejiang Normal University,Jinhua 321004,China; 2.School of Education,Zhejiang Normal University,Jinhua 321004,China) Abstract: Based on the phenomenon of confusion in the use of concepts such as thoughts, trends, theories, and viewpoints in the research process of thoughts for school physical education, this paper uses the method of literature review and logical analysis to analyze thoughts and adjacent concepts for school physical education inChina. The result suggests that viewpoints of school physical education is a rational understanding of school physical education with a certain personal color and subjectivity; trends of school physical education has been developed and formed on the basis of viewpoints of school physical education, and also represents the ideological tendency of school physical education with a certain social class; thoughts of school physical education is a rational understanding of school physical education, which is innovative, enough influential, and recognized by a certain social class, and also includes several viewpoints, arguments, propositions, and opinions; theories of school physical education is a rational understanding of school physical education with disciplinary characteristics, guided by the ideas and thoughts of school physical education, and consisted with a series of concepts, categories, principles, judgments, and deductions. Viewpoints of school physical education will be the foundation for forming thoughts of school physical education, and trends of education is the mediation for forming thoughts of school physical education, and ideas of school physical education is the sublimation of the thoughts of school physical education. Based on the above understanding, several suggestions for further research on thoughts of school physical education in China are proposed: accurately expressing thoughts and viewpoints of school physical education; accurately analyzing the relationship between thoughts and trends of school physical education; strictly distinguishing the theories and ideological categories of school physical education; and be cautious in using ideas of school physical education.
