摘要：对河南省东西南北中5个地区部分城镇教科文人员参加体育活动和身体健康现状进行抽样调查，结果显示：在职的知识分子属于我国“全民健身运动”中的一个弱势群体，身体健康状况较差。积极开展知识分的体育锻炼，增强脑力劳动者的体质，有助于我国科教兴国战略决策的实施。

Abstract: The survey of the present physical condition of the intellectuals all around Henan Province and their participation in physical exercises indicates that the inservice intellectuals in China are in poorer health and they turn to be among the weak groups in the movement of bodybuilding for all.Therefore,a vigorous development of the intellectuals' physical condition,which can build up their health will help the implement of the building-China-on-science-and-education strategy and will thus promote the rapid and stable development of the county's economy.
