| (College of Physical Education,Nanjing Normal University,Nanjing 210046,China) Abstract: The author reviewed the experience of Chinese table tennis in crusade for international table tennis games for more than 40 years, evaluated the contribution of China to promoting the development of table tennis competitive sports, and made an analytical conclusion that Chinese table tennis team’s good mental quality, daring spirit of innovating techniques and tactics, professional leading team, “nationwide sports system” and the concerns and encourages from state leaders are the important factors for Chinese table tennis to maintain prosperous over a long period of time.
